Reflecting on what makes private tutoring so successful
Brentley Edwards Education has had an outstanding start to the year, with our 7+, 8+, 10+, 11+, 13+, and 16+ entrance exam students achieving remarkable success. We are incredibly proud of the achievements of our students, and we believe that our success is a reflection of our commitment to excellence and the passion of our private tutors.
So, what makes private tutoring a success? At Brentley Edwards Education, we believe that a successful private tutoring program is built on several key factors. First and foremost, we believe that private tutors must have a passion for teaching and a genuine desire to help their students succeed. Our private tutors in London and online are not only highly qualified and experienced, but they are also passionate about their work and dedicated to helping their students achieve their goals. Although we place a lot of emphasis upon the 7+, 11+ and 13+ entrance exams, we must remember that the skills our private tutors are imparting, instilling and nurturing in their students are life long and will see them through their academic life and beyond.
Secondly, we believe that a successful private tutoring program must be tailored to meet the individual needs of each student particularly with the time pressures of the independent school and grammar school entrance exams. We recognise that every student is unique, with their own strengths, weaknesses, and learning styles. As such, our private tutors work closely with each student to develop a personalised tutoring program that will give them the success they and their parents desire. Making sure each class builds on the skills and knowledge of the previous class whilst pinpointing areas where the student needs additional support is key. We have really noticed this academic year how much this approach has impacted our students confidence, aptitude and overall success particularly in the independent and grammar school entrance exams.
Finally, we believe that a successful private tutoring program must emphasise excellence in everything that we do. We set high standards for ourselves, our private tutors and our students, and we work tirelessly to ensure that our students are well-prepared for their exams. This has been proved this year with the fantastic results ours students have gained and the offers that they have received. At 7 plus through to 11 plus and 16 plus, our students have been offered places at some of the UK’s top independent and grammar schools including Westminster School, City of London School, King’s College School, St Paul’s Girls’ School, Royal Grammar School Newcastle, Dulwich College and many, many more. We are committed to helping our students achieve their full potential, and we are very, very proud of the achievements of our students this year.
